Daniel Crow
Director
After moving to Southampton in 1995 to study Fine Art at Solent University, Dan made the city his home and has spent the last 20 years running ‘a space’ arts, supporting artists, and turning empty spaces into studios and galleries.
He enjoys painting and walking his dog Peggy in the New Forest.

Finance & Administration Officer
Dill is the Finance & Administration Officer with over a decade of successful experience in providing full financial support within the Arts & Heritage sector. Her role at ‘a space’ arts is to primarily assist the senior management team through maintaining / monitoring budgets, preparing quarterly financial statements, special reports required by funders, all banking & reconciliations. She provides administrative support to the Board of Trustees.
There are a number of things she enjoys while working in her role such as problem solving, providing timely and relevant financial analyses, she enjoys the smaller team because she can see the results of her work and her decisions have an impact on the operations of the organisation.
She loves to binge watch Netflix but also takes pleasure in being outdoors. She is an enthusiastic reader and cake baker.

Mia Delve
Creative Programme Officer
Mia is a creative programme officer at ‘a space’ arts. She works alongside Alys to develop and deliver our exhibitions, events and artist development activities. She leads on the contemporary art programme at GHT and the RIPE graduate programme at Old Northam Road. A graduate of Winchester School of Art, Mia is interested in generating opportunities and providing support for emerging artists in the region.
Mia is also a committee member and curator at K6 Gallery, as well as a filmmaker and visual artist. She is mostly Cornish, but grew up in Plymouth and enjoys cooking, reading and being by the sea.

Creative Programme Assistant - Studio Projects
Celeste works with ‘a space’ studio artists projects as part of the Creative Programme team. She has a passion for supporting artists and working collaboratively in creative processes – building relationships and sense of community and exploring the value that art can bring to people’s lives.
She is an artist with primarily a drawing practice and has a particular interest in arts, health and wellbeing.

God's House Tower Projects Officer
Hannah runs ‘a space’ arts’ flagship venue, God’s House Tower. She is passionate about making GHT a welcoming space for all, about Southampton history and heritage, and about creating interesting and accessible events and programmes.
In her spare time she enjoys playing the recorder, Bingo and spending quality time with her dog, Ralph.

Creative Programme Officer
Alys works as Creative Programme Officer. She provides support, information and advice to visual artists who live or work in the SO postcode area.
As an artist, Alys works with drawing and documentary. She grew up in Southampton and returned here in 2004. She has worked as a freelancer, has run her own creative business and most recently worked as a university lecturer.
Rachel Adams
Communications Officer
Rachel runs the ‘a space’ social media channels, promotional campaigns and PR. She is passionate about inclusivity, about representation, and about bringing people together through the arts.
In her spare time she enjoys music and swimming. She also runs her own photography practice.
