Tower House
Tower House, Town Quay Road, Southampton, SO14 2NY
On Foot
If you’re walking to Tower House from the city centre, take a left at the bottom of the High Street onto Winkle Street. Our main entrance is at the end of the road and on the right, just before the archway.
By Bike
Southampton has many designated cycle paths and routes throughout the city. There are a number of bike stands along Town Quay Road; they are located outside Platform Tavern and The Old Bowling Green.
By Train
The nearest train station is Southampton Central which is 1.0 miles from Tower House, a 7 minute bus journey or a 20 minute walk.
Woolston Station is 1.3 miles away, a 14 minute bus journey or a 30 minute walk.
By Bus
The following Bluestar buses stop at Town Quay which is a short walk from Tower House:
U1 – connects Airport Parkway Station, Highfield Interchange, the City Centre and Town Quay.
U6 – connects the General Hospital, Highfield Interchange, the City Centre and Town Quay.
Quayconnect – connects Southampton Central Station, Asda Store, West Quay and Town Quay
The following First bus stops at Friary House which is also just a short walk from Tower House:
The Three – connects with Thornhill, Sholing, Woolston, Shirley, Millbrook and Lordshill.
By Car
M3: At junction 13, Use the left 2 lanes to exit towards So’ton Docks/Bournemouth. Merge onto M27. At junction 3, Use the left 2 lanes to take the M271 (S) exit to Southampton/Docks. Take the exit for A33 from M271. Follow A33 to Winkle Street
M27: At junction 8, take the A3024 exit to Southampton/East Docks/Hamble. Continue on A3024. Take Botley Rd/B3033 and A3025 to Winkle Street
The nearest car parks are Gloucester Square and Mayflower Park.
Arches Studios
Old Cattle Market, Captain’s Place, Southampton, SO14 3FE
On Foot
If you’re approaching The Arches from the city centre, walk down the High Street and take a left at Holyrood Church onto Bernard Street. Continue on Bernard Street then take a left onto Captains Place. Follow the road around, the studios are located under the bridge.
By Bike
Southampton has many designated cycle paths and routes throughout the city. There are bike stands on Captain Place, around the corner from Arches Studios; they are located outside Red Hot Press Printing Studio.
Bikes are available throughout the city via Yo Bike, a dockless bike sharing system. Download the app to get started.
By Train
The nearest train station is Woolston which is 1.0 miles from Arches Studios, a 12 minute bus journey or a 20 minute walk.
Southampton Central is 1.2 miles away, a 12 minute bus journey or a 25 minute walk.
By Bus
The following First buses stop at Itchen Bridge which is a short walk from Arches Studio.
Route 6 – connects Hamble-Le-Rice, Netley, Newtown, Woolston, the City Centre and Chapel
Route 9 – connects Pleasant View, Botany Bay, Sholing, Bitterne
The Three – connects Thornhill, Sholing, Woolston, Shirley, Millbrook and Lordshill.
Solent Rangers (X4 and X5) – connects Southampton to Gosport and Portsmouth
By Car
M3: At junction 14 Use the left 2 lanes to exit towards A33/Southampton. Follow A33 to Captains Place.
M27: At junction 8, take the A3024 exit to Southampton/East Docks/Hamble. Follow A3024, Botley Rd/B3033 and A3025 to Captains Place.
