Subject Crits with Paul Vivian
Thursday 4th July 2019 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Arch 04, Arches Studios, Old Cattle Market, Captain's Place (off Terminus Terrace), Southampton, SO14 3FE
Within these crits we will explore specific subjects across individual art practices.
An invitation to artists in the region to bring their artwork for critique based on the theme of ‘The Body’, if your work uses directly or indirectly the theme or subject of the body then do come along. We look forward to a lively debate. All mediums and practices welcome!
Open to all at whether graduate, amateur, emerging or established, these crits are designed to explore how a subject is developed, how we ask questions within the work and how these perspectives and approaches inform the ways in which we develop and resolve our artwork.
Each crit includes a range of contextual material to both to introduce ideas around subjects and as an opportunity to inform discussion around it.
