This is an open invitation to all artists working in any medium or practice who explore and include the subject of landscape within their work. The crit will enable you to discuss your work within a positive and constructive environment. Paul will provide an overview of landscape within the contexts of artistic practice through a short presentation, this will enable the group to read, view and discuss your work alongside art and historical representations of landscape.
Open to all, whether graduate, amateur, emerging or established artist, these crits are designed to explore how a subject is developed, how we ask questions within the work and how these perspectives and approaches inform the ways in which we develop and resolve our artwork.
Each crit includes a range of contextual material to both to introduce ideas around subjects and as an opportunity to inform discussion around it.
