The Turning Point Bursary for Visual Artists
The Turning Point Bursary for Visual Artists programme (previously known as the Talent Development Bursary scheme) invites artists at a turning point in their career to propose and carry out a 6 month project of activities to develop their practice.
The programme acts a springboard to extend existing interests and explore new territories by enabling visual artists to propose a development project that is responsive to their needs, aligned with their practice, ambition, career position and long-term goals.
The programme first ran in 2013 and again in 2014. In the programme’s third round back in 2019, ‘a space’ arts awarded 11 artists from the SO postcode area a bursary of up to £1000 each. You can find out more about these artists and their work below.
