Mentor Mondays is back in September, and we’re delighted to offering a 1-to-1 session with  writer and curator Chris Fite-Wassilak, who’ll be offering feedback, guidance, and support to local artists.

 

About the Mentor

Chris Fite-Wassilak is a London-based writer and curator, whose books include Ha-Ha Crystal (Copy Press, 2016) and The Artist in Time (Herbert Press, 2020). He is a regular to contributor to publications including Art Agenda, Art Monthly, Art Review, frieze and others, and is a co-organiser with artist Anne Tallentire of the quarterly event hmn.

The sessions are free and open to those living and working in the SO postcode area. The 1-to-1’s will take place online via Zoom and you will be sent a link ahead of your session. There are only three sessions available so early booking is advised to avoid missing out.

About Mentor Mondays

Part of ‘a space’ arts expanded Artist Voices ProgrammeMentor Mondays invites visual arts professionals from across the UK to hold zoom 1-to-1 sessions with artists & artworkers from the SO postcode area.

On one Monday of every month we will offer three 45 minute 1-to-1 sessions on zoom which will be available to book on a first come first serve basis.

1-to-1s will be led by mentors with wide-ranging professional visual arts experience: curating, writing, fundraising, publishing, commercial art and more. These sessions are designed to support with critical feedback on work, funding advice, and developing career strategies.
