At THIS IS NOT A FILM CLUB, you choose what you watch! From lesser-known independent productions to blockbuster films, our selection covers all tastes, so you know you’ll find something you love to watch.
The voting will close a week before the event so don’t forget to check back! You’ll find out what film you’ll be watching when you arrive and we’ll be asking viewers to rate the film as well as to contribute to a blind vote for the following month’s viewing.
What to Expect on the Night
The doors to GHT will open at 6:30 PM, and the bar will be open for drinks and snacks. As you (hopefully) know, there have been two films to vote for, and we’ll be showing the most popular from each (one in the cafe, and one in the Crawford Room).
In the Crawford Room, you can expect lesser-known art-house productions, while in the cafe you’ll find some absolute classics. When you arrive, pick your vibe and make yourself at home!
As always, you’ll find out which films have won the vote when you get there.

Access
Please note that unfortunately, the Crawford Room does not have step-free access. The cafe is step free from Town Quay Road. The cafe extension will be used as a quiet space throughout the evening, with dimmed lighting and quiet music. Please use this space if for any reason you need to take a break.
What to bring
Wrap up warm as GHT can get cool at night. There will be plenty of chairs, beanbags and other seating available.
Tickets
Please have your ticket ready when you arrive on the night for a member of the team to check at the front door.
This event is totally free to attend and we’ll be operating a ‘pay what you feel’ system at the end of the night. If you have a good night and can spare a few pounds we’d really appreciate it. All donations are welcome. You can also support by buying drinks and snacks at the bar.
All funds raised will help us keep these events free and will help to build a community around these events of people who love good film!
