Come join the ‘Knit in with Enam’ workshop series.

Textile and performance artist Enam Gbewonyo will be in residence at God’s House Tower this April to kick off her Meeting Point commission (see more info on the commission here). As part of her residency programme she is leading a series of three free entry knitting workshops open to Southampton locals of all ages with basic knitting knowledge (can knit garter/ stocking stitch).
Guided by Enam, each participant will be knitting with steel wire to create pieces that will be used for parts of one of the soft sculpture installations being made for the commission. Your work will be part of this landmark artwork which will be on display at God’s House Tower throughout the summer with a special launch event taking place in July.
The workshops will take place at GHT on:
- Wednesday 13th April, 2pm – 5pm
- Thursday 14th April, 6pm – 8pm
- Wednesday 20th April, 2pm – 5pm
