Recruitment: Join the GHT Crew – Applications Now Open
As a GHT Crew member, you’ll help create a welcoming, memorable and inclusive experience for everyone who visits God’s House Tower. Whether you’re greeting visitors, serving in the café and bar, supporting an exhibition, helping deliver a wedding or private event, or setting up for a community activity, you’ll play an important role in bringing the venue to life.
- Location: God’s House Tower, Town Quay Road, Southampton, SO14 2NY
- Hours: Part-time, Variable, up to a maximum of 20 hours across 7 days
- Hourly Rate: National Minimum Wage (£12.71 p/h), with an enhanced rate for bank holidays and large scale all day weddings (£15.71 p/h)

Open Call: Invasive / Native Workshop at God’s House Tower
‘a space’ arts are looking for participants to take part in Invasive/Native, a free creative workshop led by artist april forrest lin 林森 at God’s House Tower. Using Japanese knotweed as a starting point, this hands-on workshop explores ecology, adaptation, migration and belonging through creative making and conversation. Participants will discover the fascinating biology of Japanese knotweed, how it spreads through underground rhizomes, how it arrived in the UK, and why it has become one of Britain’s most talked-about plants.
The workshop will culminate in the creation of a collaborative artwork, which will be exhibited at God’s House Tower during the British Science Festival.
Who is this opportunity for? This opportunity is only open to people from global majority communities. No previous experience in art or science is needed.
