Inside the Artist’s Studio: 20 Years of the Arches is a free exhibition at God’s House Tower in Southampton. It celebrates two decades of Arches Studios, a creative hub established by ‘a space’ arts in 2005.
Step inside the artist’s studio and discover where ideas begin. This unique exhibition lifts the curtain on the creative process. See how artworks evolve, from first spark to finished piece.
The artist’s studio is more than just a workspace. It’s a place of inspiration, risk-taking and exploration. It can be a lab, a playground, a sanctuary. A place to test ideas, try new things — and sometimes fail.
This exhibition invites you to see the marks of that journey. You might find a completed artwork. Or catch a glimpse of an idea, just starting to grow.
Part of a month-long celebration of creativity, collaboration and community, this special event is a rare opportunity to connect with the artists who shape Southampton’s vibrant arts scene.
