IT’S MY ART DEGREE AND I’LL DO WHAT I WANT WITH IT

Ozzy Crawley is an artist and printmaker based in Southampton. They create screen prints and murals full of friendly shapes and colourful objects, letting the joy of the process shine through.

 

“Printmaking has been my main artistic process for years now, but what about all the art I make in smaller ways? With this exhibition, I wanted to honour my practice in a more expanded sense, with the items I create for non-artistic purposes alongside things I designate as art.

 

One window consists of new work for this exhibition, continuing to explore layering and colour mixing through friendly shapes and half-tones. The other window contains older and less ‘proper’ work, as well as crafty bits and pieces that surround me in day-to-day life.”
