Explore our most recent RIPE exhibition at the Alfred Arcade, Tomato Catch-up, a collaborative project that aims to encourage artistic and professional development through a series of skills-sharing workshops and activities. Featuring work by 2020 graduates from Solent University and Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, Poppy AshJess CurtisOlivér GáspárJames HewinsThirsika JeyapalanHarry JoyceMaryam Zahra KazimiJojo LewisKatie MullenderCarolyn NiChonbhaiMegan Georgia Smith and Morgan Watson.

Visit a new exhibition in the Hidden Wardrobe by ZEST artist, Benji Heinke. For this solo exhibition, Remote Icons, Benji is exhibiting a series of new paintings made over the last two years.

Music will be provided at the Alfred Arms by Southampton based DJ, HANIN, along with live visuals created in collaboration with RIPE artist, James Hewins.

Drinks will be served at the Alfred Arms from 6pm – 10pm.

We will also be launching both exhibitions online on the ‘a space’ arts YouTube channel.

This event is part of RIPE, led by ‘a space’ arts in partnership with Solent University and Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. The programme supports graduate artists in the city to exhibit and engage in artistic exchange and experimentation, forming networks and friendships that will help them sustain a fruitful visual arts practice.
