We're looking for submissions for a new PRIDE Open Call

 ‘a space’ arts are excited to be hosting a Pre-Pride Weekender at our flagship venue God’s House Tower (GHT), in partnership with Southampton Pride and City Eye, and we want you to get involved!

The Pre-Pride Weekender at GHT will celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and their many creative accomplishments. Alongside performances, workshops and a book fair in our Main Gallery, we are looking to provide a platform for queer film-makers to exhibit their work alongside other LGBTQIA+ artists. Your film will be part of a reel of shorts, exhibited in our Project Space across the weekend from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st August. This is a great opportunity to have your work featured in an award-winning arts and heritage venue, and feature as part of the wider Pride celebrations in the city.

The open call is open to all ages and you do not need any formal qualifications or arts experience to apply. The work can be about absolutely anything – there is no restriction on theme or subject matter. The closing date for submissions is at 9:00am on Monday 8th August.
