This weekend is your last chance to visit Performance and Textile Artist Enam Gbewonyo’s exhibition ‘Gardez L’Eau’ at our flagship venue God’s House Tower.
Developed as part of Arts&Heritage’s Meeting Point Programme, Gardez L’Eau is a multi-faceted body of work from acclaimed artist Enam that draws on themes of trade, travel, colonialism and piracy; and uses materials significant to God’s House Tower’s past to create a visual trail of intricate sculptures, immersive film and captivating audio that runs through the entirety of the building.
The exhibition is free to visit and on display until Sunday 14th August. You can find out more and plan a visit here. Don’t miss out!
Gardez L’Eau is presented as part of Meeting Point, a national programme led by contemporary arts agency Arts&Heritage (www.artsandheritage.org.uk) that partners leading UK and international artists with museums and heritage sites to produce new artworks inspired by the museums and their collections.
