Last chance to sign up for Wednesday's 'Knit in with Enam'

Southampton locals, it’s your last chance to sign up for Wednesday’s ‘Knit in with Enam’ workshop.

Textile and performance artist Enam Gbewonyo is in residence at God’s House Tower this April and is leading a series of free knitting workshops open to Southampton locals of all ages with basic knitting knowledge.

Participants will knit with steel wire to create pieces that will be used in Enam’s soft sculpture installations made for the commission. This is your opportunity to not only develop your knitting skills but to be part of this landmark artwork which will be on display at GHT throughout the summer.

The workshops will take place on Wednesday 13th April, 2pm – 5pm. There are also additional workshops on Thursday 14th April, 6pm – 8pm and Wednesday 20th April, 2pm – 5pm can can be booked individually or as a series. (Workshops are open to those living in Southampton)
