Open Call: Deep Time Climate Commission

‘A space’ arts are looking to commission an artist to make new work which will be exhibited at our headline venue, God’s House Tower. This commission is an opportunity for an artist to delve into the history of the site and the city beyond, exploring deep-time biodiversity and environmental changes.

The deadline for artists to submit an Expressions of Interest is Monday 21st July at 9am. Please read the full Artist Brief before applying.

Your Expression of Interest can be written or recorded and sent as an email, voice note or a video.

Your Expression of Interest should include:

  • 500 words or less (if written) or 3 minutes or less (if recorded)
  • Briefly outline your practice and how you feel it relates to God’s House Tower
  • Consider what it is about this opportunity that interests you
  • Include an outline of your idea for a new work. This does not have to be detailed – please keep descriptions succinct, clear and in accessible language
  • A link to your website or a portfolio that includes to 8 jpeg images of recent work and examples of similar commissions or projects (completed or in-progress).
