Mentor Mondays is back at the end of the month and we’re delighted to be joined by artist Rebecca Moss!

Part of ‘a space’ arts expanded Artist Voices Programme, Mentor Mondays invites visual arts professionals from across the UK to hold zoom 1-to-1 sessions with artists & artworkers from the SO postcode area. For the upcoming September session, Rebecca will be offering support, guidance and critical feedback for those working and practising in the arts, living and working in the SO postcode area.

Mentor Mondays will take place on on Monday 25th September.

There are three 45 minute sessions available and the sessions will take place online via Zoom.

About the Mentor

Rebecca Moss is an artist based in Essex and East London (b.1991). She was part of the UP projects Constellations cohort of artists in 2022.

In 2016, Moss was shortlisted for The Future Generation Art Prize with PinchukArtCentre, Kiev. Solo exhibitions and events include From the Sublime to the Ridiculous, Bunkier Sztuki Gallery, Krakow (2019) and Jerwood Staging Series, Jerwood Arts, London (2019).

She has participated in group shows including Poor Things, Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh (2023); BEANO: The Art of Breaking the Rules, Somerset House, London (2022); Survey II, Jerwood Arts, London (2021–22); The Sea is Glowing, Exportdrvo for Rijeka 2020 European Capital of Culture (2020) and was nominated to propose work for The High Line Plinth, New York (2020).

Moss graduated with an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art in 2017. Moss currently has her first UK solo exhibition at Focal Point Gallery, Southend, open until September 2023.
