Thank you from the 'a space' arts team

The whole team at ‘a space’ arts wants to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in our silent auction and joined us at GHT last night for our Inspirational Women Artists exhibition closing event.

It was an evening of celebration and we were delighted to meet so many artists involved and hear all of your lovely comments and feedback on the exhibition and the artworks. We were also fortunate to hear from the Yellow Door team on the crucial work they do in the city and how the funds raised will help support them in addition to a talk from composer and sound artist Emily Peasgood, who shared a preview of her upcoming exhibition launching at GHT this Friday.

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce we raised a total of £3,000 in our silent auction, with £1292 going to the artists and £1708 to Yellow Door which will help them to continue their fantastic work.
