Our most recent exhibition at GHT, Emily Peasgood’s ‘When I Grow Up I Want to Be a Ship’, closes this weekend and you’re invited to our closing celebration event.
There’s still time to get your free ticket ahead of Friday’s event as Sound artist Emily Peasgood and some exciting local musicians take to the stage to perform Emily’s song inspired by Southampton’s complex and enduring relationship with the sea. The gallery will be open all evening for you to explore the exhibition and immerse yourself in the Story of the Solent one last time, and the bar will be open serving refreshments.
The event takes place from 6pm – 8pm at God’s House Tower. You can book your free ticket here (You can also turn up on the night).
God’s House Tower will be open from 10am until 4pm on Friday 6th May in preparation for the event.
‘When I Grow Up I Want to Be a Ship’ is on display until Sunday 8th May and is free to visit.
