The Beeches, Blandford Forum

A series of bespoke tiled murals created by Illustrator Esther Coombs at a new housing development at The Beeches in Blandford Forum in Dorset for developer Stonewater Housing.

Esther’s distinctive, natural illustrative style conveys Blandford’s history and informs residents and visitors alike of local stories.

The designs met and exceeded the brief that space provided to the artist: The designs included; The location’s name, ‘The Beeches’, images of beech trees and leaves, a text panel outlining the market town history and be maintenance free.
