Apply for our GHT Christmas Tree Commission

The festive season is fast approaching and we’ve got an exciting new opportunity for an artist to create a seasonal sculptural artwork for our flagship arts and heritage venue God’s House Tower (GHT).

As we prepare for Christmas 2022 at GHT, we’re looking to commission an artist to create a new sculptural artwork that will serve as a reusable and eco-friendly Christmas Tree to be displayed in the welcome area of GHT this December and in future festive periods.

This new commission is part of the organisations commitment to raising awareness about the current climate emergency, as well as reducing and mitigating our own environmental impact, and is a fantastic opportunity for an artist to create an environmentally-friendly public facing work and build their portfolio.

The commissioned artist will receive a fee of £800 and will have their work displayed in an award-winning arts and heritage venue.
